Egyptian Spinach Update
Egyptian spinach grown in containers
This is one of my Egyptian spinach plants. It stands roughly 4 feet above the soil after germination some 3.5 months (I think. Sorry, I did not track the dates on this plant). It grows inside a container that has very rich soil. The soil has a lot of compost and manure. However, I think it has grown as well as it has because the soil is also very lose. Additionally, the weather is not too hot. A house shades the plant from the intense afternoon sun and so I am able to keep the soil very moist. Unfortunately, the leaves are starting to get small because it began to flower and seed.
