HEALTH BENEFITS OF CONSUMING EGYPTIAN SPINACH / SALUYOT INCLUDE:
Anti-aging benefits (purportedly to an extent that surpasses potent anti-aging serums). In fact it is said that consuming Egyptian spinach was one of Cleopatra's beauty secrets; Anti-oxidant properties vitamin E that fight against health ailments related to free radical damage like hardening arteries, arthritis, heart and kidney problems; thanks to its vitamins A and C, improved eye sight and prevention of several eye health problems like cataracts and thanks to its high calcium content, strong teeth and bones.

Eating Egyptian spinach / saluyot frequently may control blood pressure, cholesterol and reduce the risk of cancer, asthma and heart disease. Consuming dried Egyptian spinach / saluyot in teas may help headachesdysentery and stomach ulcers.
In fact, Egyptian spinach / saluyot proponents are likely to argue that this summary does not do Egyptian spinach / saluyot justice to the full list of health benefits. They would justify their argument with claims that Egyptian spinach / saluyot contains nearly all of the nutrients that we need for good health.

OTHER BENEFITS OF GROWING EGYPTIAN SPINACH / SALUYOT:
Egyptian spinach / saluyot can not be easily bought outside of places like the Philipines and Egypt. This may be in part due to how quickly Egyptian spinach / saluyot leaves wilt and lack of knowledge (and possibly interest) by the West.

MY QUESTION
More recently, I read that Egyptian spinach / saluyot's health benefits also include an ability to resolve liver disorders. I look forward to getting more information about this.
